Suite 101 and StumbleUpon
So, on an average day, my suite101 articles will receive at total of 200ish views. I thought it was pretty decent, when in reality it wasn’t really all that great! Someone recently added one of my articles to StumbleUpon and that article alone got almost 600 hits in one day!
I created a StumbleUpon profile some time ago, but didn’t do much with it. I went back in and added a few more of my Suite101 articles to their database and thus far I’ve gotten a total of 1,360 page views in one day. I think this whole StumbleUpon thing may be the key to my success…well, not really, but it can’t hurt.
I did some checking because my articles weren’t all getting accepted and I guess you can add yourself too many times which upsets the system. So, I’ll just add the articles sporadically. I’m also looking into alternative databases in which to input my own information! Hopefully it will drum up some traffic.
