Other Writing Blogs

So, I just went to check out some of the “top 100 writing blogs,” and really there is no difference between their blogs and my own.

Some write about their own upcoming projects, deadlines, novels.. which is something I do on a smaller scale as my writing isn’t quite as well known as some. (Not yet anyway!)

Some write book reviews… which is something I don’t generally do on my blog, that’s what Suite101 is for. I do, however, provide links to the reviews that I do pen.

Others write about the process of writing and how to improve upon your own personal work. I try to do this, but then I always get distracted and wind up talking nonsense. I will make a promise to try and deliver a bit more of the instructional stuff. Believe it or not, I am actually a competent and thoughtful writer. Who knew? I only have 2 degrees in the field. No biggie.

The remainder of the creative writing blogs focus on freelancing and how to make money doing it. I don’t really know much about this aspect of writing, but it isn’t my niche. So, I’m not worried.

Let’s boost readership and get my blog on the list! Or at least fail miserably after giving it a shot.
